Many times we have asked ourselves this question, “What to do when we have many things to do?”
The Green Color is one of my fundamental Color of Personality, so I usually have and use a schedule on a paper. At this point I have prepared my list of actions:
- To Do List
- HIT List: daily, flexible, short term actions It is not a “Must do List.” It is “WANT to do List.”
- Master List: future, long term, eventual. All important tasks. “Someday” tasks and good ideas actions.
Through this book “What to Do When There’s Too Much To Do.” chapter 2, I have learned, as you possibly as well, some basic models how to schedule things to do. I have started with some electronic models, and follow my tasks. Besides, I carry a notebook and a pen or pencil to catch any idea that I see or feel. At the end of the day, before to go to sleep, I write them down in my list according to their priority and importance.
On the other hand, we must have in mind that Activity does not necessarily means Productivity; that everything we do or are going to do must be to help our Big Purpose flowing.
By the same token, the schedule that I am conforming is according to the “chameleon criteria” and “availability catching” concept in order to feel myself satisfied at the end of everyday.
