This is A subject that has generated great confusion, debate and late night debate amongst WordPress SEO Specialist s, bloggers and internet marketers. Having witnessed at first hand how a big SEO agency rips off customers by insisting on pointless on-site alterations, here is my take on SEO best practices with WordPress.

The Bad and the ugly OK, back to my experiences this week using the “Los Angeles SEO experts” – you are not going to believe some of the things I heard them say. (Disclaimer: not all of search engine optimization professionals are poor but there are many who will squander your money with the next).

Here are a few Pieces of Los Angeles SEO advice I have discovered which are either complete rubbish Or a waste of time. Remember, people get compensated for trotting out this Crap…

Adding meta keywords.
Prevent duplicate meta descriptions and titles. Surely, don’t possess the same meta descriptions on Two blog Posts but for many sites titles and descriptions are identical on Category archive pages, and Google knows this. It is OK.
Google does not enjoy content below the fold. What?? I Have heard it said, trust me. Google does not like too many advertisements above The fold but long posts are fine. Sure it’s maybe better to split a 3,000-word article into three different 1,000-word articles, if that can Be logically done.

A site should be in validated HTML and CSS. Yes, but it is not an SEO concern, it’s a usability one.
